EH Championship Regulations

EHL Regulations & Summary of Major Regulation Changes                      

All changes from 2017-18 are highlighted in yellow. Many of these are minor or just small amendments to wording. More major changes are listed below, this includes an increase in the number of non-EU players permitted.

2.1 Management of the League – note the new Elite Domestic Game Panel has superseded the EHL Committee. The Terms of Reference of the Group have been circulated to clubs but are available on request    

3.7  The role of liaison officer and second contact

4.2.1 Individual player registrations and data provision

4.2.2 Maximum number of players that can be registered is 40

4.2.3 No Objection Certificates – documentation to be uploaded as part of player registration process.

4.2.10 Team lists for games must be uploaded to the Competition Management System

4.2.13 The increase from one to two non EU players

5.3 How the 2019-20 leagued will be constituted

7.1 & 7.2 Variance to start times and fixture days

7.4 Ball colour

9.6 Adherence to regulations regarding kit
