Ashby Ladies Hockey Club comprises of two teams, Ladies 1st who have recently been promoted to the East Midlands Feeder League and also Ladies 2nds who play in the Leicestershire Ladies Hockey League 1. The club welcomes players of all abilities and currently has over 30 members from the local area. Dedicated coaching and commitment from players has helped Ashby Ladies Hockey Club reach the highest league level ever played before. Ashby Ladies Hockey Club is also committed to helping improve sport in young children. Our junior hockey club is currently thriving with both senior club members and professional coaches developing and strengthening talent from schools in the Ashby area. A strong affiliation with Ashby Men’s Hockey Club, who also have three teams playing in the East Midlands division, demonstrates the huge influence hockey has in the town and both clubs continued enthusiasm towards the sport.
